2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Syloon, a year where SYLOONers’ reach extends across global markets. Since the beginning of the year, teams across business, design, and development have embarked on a world exploration journey—participating in exhibitions in Europe, visiting clients in North America, and conducting market research in regions like Australia and the Gulf.
In September, the "Syloon Study Group," consisting of 10 teams and over 100 members, seized the opportunity of Southeast Asia's growth, embarking on a study tour in Vietnam under the theme “Beyond Limits, Toward Future”
This event combined employee welfare travel with on-the-ground market visits. The 6-day, 5-night journey allowed SYLOONers to immerse themselves in a foreign culture while deepening their insights into international market trends.

Study Journey: Beyond Limits, Toward Future
On September 27, before officially setting off, the 10 study teams engaged in a unique flag-drawing activity. This event marked the start of our highly anticipated travel and team-building experience, boosting enthusiasm and cohesion among all participants.

In recent years, countries like Vietnam have become focal points in the global economy, playing a crucial role in the shift of global supply chains and significantly impacting Syloon’s globalization strategy.
On September 30, the Syloon Study Group visited several local manufacturing factories in Vietnam. With warm hospitality and detailed explanations from the factory leaders, our SYLOONers gained in-depth insights into the operational management models and manufacturing processes of local enterprises.

One particular paper factory, with which Syloon has had a long-standing partnership, left a profound impression on the group. The manager of Syloon’s printing workshop, Ms. Hua, expressed her deep emotional connection during the visit. She understood why Syloon’s color proofs achieve perfect results in production: it’s due to the shared commitment to excellence between Syloon and its suppliers. This alignment is key to achieving win-win collaborations.

Following the factory visits, Mr. Chen, Country Manager of Shanhai Map in Vietnam, shared insights on the latest trends in Vietnam's manufacturing sector. Through detailed data analysis, he explored the development dynamics and trends in the manufacturing and investment markets.
During a dinner discussion, the study group members engaged actively with Mr. Chen, who emphasized the importance of understanding a new market before entering it. He praised Syloon for organizing such a large-scale overseas market exploration for its SYLOONers. He also offered professional and unique advice tailored to Syloon’s current development stage, providing valuable insights for the strategic layout of Syloon’s global supply chain.

A Journey of Recharge and Happiness

A wonderful trip can recharge the soul just as fresh perspectives can. The Vietnam study tour was not only an exploration of market awareness but also a welfare trip designed to enhance employee happiness.
The 6-day journey began in the picturesque island city of Nha Trang, where we listened to the waves on the rocks and chased sunsets on the beach. We also visited famous tourist cities like Mui Ne and Ho Chi Minh City, capturing the vibrant energy of the red and white sand dunes and the tranquility of landmarks like the Cathedral and the Presidential Palace.

Beyond the main itinerary, SYLOONers strolled through the bustling streets filled with Southeast Asian charm, tasting local delicacies, participating in cultural activities, and slowing down to savor the local lifestyle. We enjoyed the fresh flavors of rice noodle soup and the salty sea breeze, recharging ourselves after our usual busy routines.
Those who appreciate beauty in life also create beauty in their work. Syloon’s philosophy of being a “Happiness Enterprise” encourages employees to balance their work and life, maximizing both their professional and personal value.

The meaningful study journey concluded beautifully amidst the scenic views of Nha Trang. This trip not only deepened the study group’s understanding of Vietnam's manufacturing sector but also strengthened Syloon’s connections with local suppliers, advancing our strategy of integrating and developing a global supply chain.
In the future, SYLOONers will continue to explore new places with a thirst for knowledge, beyond limits, toward future.
The world is vast, and the journey continues. Let us cherish the insights and experiences from this trip, gather our energy, and set off together again next time!
